Top Mold-Fighting Products to Purify Your Home

Mold spores in your air can trigger or worsen chronic health issues. Purify your environment with targeted mold-fighting solutions to test, eliminate, and prevent spores so you can breathe easier and feel better.

Mold is a contributing or causal factor in a number of chronic diseases. As it grows it releases spores in the air that float until you breathe them in causing an allergic reaction that results in your condition. The more mold that is in your air the worse your condition will be. You must purify your environmental air in order for you to get well.

Test Your Home for Mold

If you suspect a mold issue in your home, especially if you’re suffering from unexplained symptoms that can be attributed to mold. Please consider testing your home/environment as the first step.

Mold is not a joke, and not to be taken lightly. If not properly addressed it can lead to severe and dangerous health conditions.

The US Environmental Protection Authority developed ERMI to provide a straightforward, objective, sensitive and standardized way to assess mold and indoor air quality investigations. The USEPA developed the ERMI as a ranking system based on dust samples collected from homes, the ERMI will help predict the moldiness of homes.

While not a replacement for professional mold remediation, fogging can temporarily provide a safe environment for those affected by mold and mycotoxins.

Fogging is also beneficial for routine cleaning and maintenance for mold-sensitized individuals. Regular fogging can have a dramatic impact on indoor air quality.

Dehumidify the area

Run a dehumidifier (or several). Keep humidity under 50%. Mold thrives above 60%. No equipment? Place bowls of baking soda or charcoal in damp areas.

Mold Detox

We do not recommend relying on any of these to improve symptoms of severe mold toxicity. If you are sick and are still in the moldy environment or are living with items from the moldy environment, the volume of toxins you are breathing will usually exceed what these temporary solutions can eliminate. The best solution is to get into a safe place in which you KNOW you are improving without any items from the moldy place.
